BINDINGS. - Richard Lord BRAYBROOKE (editor). Memoirs of Samuel Pepys… second edition. London: 1828. 8vo (220 x 133mm.) 5 vols., 8vo (218 x 138mm.) 11 plates (4 folding), illustrations. (Some spotting or browning.) Late 19th century half-morocco gilt, by Birdsall & Son, Northampton, the spines in six compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, t.e.g. (spines scuffed and rubbed). Provenance: Earl of Clanricade (armorial bookplate); Harry Manfield (armorial bookplate).
