BUTLER, Samuel. Hudibras, a Poem…. a new edition. London: 1822. 2 vols., 8vo (212 x 123mm.) 12 hand-coloured aquatint plates by J. Clark. (Plates offset, some spotting, heavier to rear of vol. I.) Near contemporary black straight-grain morocco gilt, the spines in five unequal compartments with raised bands, lettered in the second and fourth compartments, the others with repeat decoration in gilt, g.e. (minor scuffs).
