A Japanese Satsuma earthenware bowl by Kozan, Meiji period, of circular form with lipped rim, the interior painted and gilt with a central panel filled with bijin and children, within a border of flowers and brocade roundels filled with four landscape and flower vignettes, the exterior with iron red and gilt scattered kiku of kiri mon, gilt signature to base, diameter approx 12.2cm.
