A Victorian Scottish officer's basket-hilted broadsword by Steamer with straight double-edged blade, length approx 82cm, with double narrow fullers, etched with VR cypher, crowned Rifle Volunteer's bugle and foliate scrolls (some rust staining), nickel plated hilt with wire-bound fishskin-covered grip (plating lifting), in its nickel plated scabbard (dented).
