LOT 870
A group of five mostly Second World War period medals, comprising Distinguished Service Medal, George VI issue, with engraved naming, to 'A/P.O.. L.W. Pratt. P/SDX. 1583', 1939-1945 Star, Atlantic Star with bar 'France & Germany', 1939-45 War Medal and Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Long Service Medal, George VI issue, with impressed naming to '1583 L.W. Pratt. P.O. R.N.V.R.', mounted on a bar, with a photocopy of the Supplement to the London Gazette, dated 2nd January 1945, confirming the award and detailing 'For Courage, Leadership and Skill Whilst Serving in Light Coastal Craft in Attacks on Enemy Shipping', a letter from the Press Division of the Admiralty, dated 29th December 1944, conveying sincere congratulations on the award of the DSM, a newspaper cutting, detailed 'Storrington Resident's Award', a letter, detailed 'Admiralty 20th March 1946', notifying Leslie Pratt on his award of a gratuity of twenty pounds, and another note detailing gallantry awards from the London Gazette of 2nd January 1945.
