A Rhenish Westerwald stoneware vase, dated 1594 but probably late 19th Century, the globular grey body decorated in blue with sprigged and incised decoration of two armorials flanked by an equestrian figure to one side and a woman supporting a shield to the other, within floral stems, the circular neck and foot with relief geometric banded detail, height approx 26cm (minor faults), together with a similar stoneware flagon.
