A Copenhagen stoneware budding vase designed by Axel Salto, circa 1940, the cylindrical body with an overall relief diamond design, covered in a dark brown and pale buff glaze, incised 'Salto' to base with underglaze blue wave mark and numerals '20564' and incised '6-161', height approx 17cm.
