A late 19th Century French ormolu and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate inscribed 'Howell James & Co Paris', the porcelain dial with gilt gothic Roman numerals, the gothic case inset with numerous porcelain panels filled with portraits and gothic ornamentation within blue borders, the finial above faceted pillars on an opposing dragon scroll base, height approx 42.5cm, together with pendulum (one small porcelain plaque missing and one plaque cracked).
