A George III and later mahogany longcase clock with thirty hour movement striking on a bell, the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, inscribed 'SamL Quarman, Temple Cloud' framing a silvered centre engraved with a figure turning a bowl above a pierced date aperture with tulip motif, cornered with pierced gilt spandrels, the later case with rectangular trunk door on a plain base and plinth, height approx 199.5cm, with weight and pendulum.
