A General Service Medal, George VI issue, with bar 'Palestine', and two further bars not attached, comprising 'Palestine 1945-48' and 'Malaya', to '577 T/2/B/Sjt. R.A.J. Ash, Pal. Police', a 1939-45 Star, an Africa Star, a 1939-45 Defence Medal and a War Medal, a box lid named and detailed 'Clasp Malaya', a group of five dress miniature medals showing the three bar General Service Medal, a full size and a miniature ribbon bar, a bullion badge, a Royal Life Saving Society bronze medal, awarded to 'R.A.J. Ash Nov 1936', a mother-of-pearl brooch, detailed 'Palestine Police', an R.E.M.E. cap badge, two enamelled badges, three further badges and his wife's 1939-45 Defence Medal, with forwarding slip and box of postage, addressed to 'Mrs D.G. Ash', together with a 1914-18 British War Medal to '164410 Gnr. W.C. Goddard. R.A.', and twelve sporting fob medals, mostly for amateur gymnastics, including six silver examples, some named to 'A. Ash' and others to 'R. Ash'.
