A Naval General Service Medal, with bar 'Syria', to 'Thomas Whittaker.', Note: roll confirms as 'Drummer Royal Marines Serving Aboard HMS Pique', and a Crimea Medal 1854, with bar 'Sebastopol' (loose on the ribbon), with impressed naming to 'Serjt Thos D. Whitaker. R. Marines.' (repair to the side of the bar). Note: it is possible that these are awarded to the same recipient.
