"LEWIS'S (publishers). A Complete History of the ""Great Eastern"" from her First Projection in 1850 to her Visit to the Mersey in 1886. Liverpool: June 1886. 32pp., 8vo (205 x 136mm.) Occasional illustrations. (Light creasing, one page soiled, occasional minor browning.) Original printed wrappers, stapled as issued (slightly soiled, torn and tattered with some loss, covers nearly detached). Note: a scarce pamphlet produced by the famous Liverpool department store, Lewis's, documenting the history of the ship whilst advertising the ship's final use as a floating music hall. The S.S. Great Eastern was designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel and was launched in 1858. She was broken up in 1889."
