FORESTER, C.S. (1899-1966). Hornblower and the Atropos. Boston: Little, Brown and Company, 1953. First American edition, 8vo (202 x 133mm.) Original cloth (head and foot of spine lightly bumped), dust-jacket (spotted, torn with some loss along top edge, spine faded). Provenance: Dorothy Forester (signed presentation inscription from the author, dated 'July 1953'); The Forester and Troughton-Smith Family Archive.
