A George III Scottish provincial silver Fiddle pattern dessert spoon, Tain circa 1820 by Alexander Stewart (AS, Tain and Wheat Ear mark), length approx 17.7cm, together with a similar dessert spoon, Aberdeen circa 1820, marked 'GB ABD AB', and a further dessert spoon, Inverness circa 1830 by John McRae. Note: see pages 161 and 82 of Moss & Roe Highland Gold and Silversmiths for illustrations of Alexander Stewart and John McRae makers' marks.
