A William IV alphabetical and numerical needlework sampler by Mary Dixon, 'Aged 11, Oct 21st A.D. 1836', the letters and numbers above a Georgian country house and church within a landscape, the verse flanked by flowers, contained within a floral border, worked with coloured wools in mainly cross stitch on a cream canvas ground, approx 44cm x 40cm, within a faux wood frame.
