A Japanese inlaid lacquer screen, early 20th Century, of Shinto Temple Gateway (Torii) form, decorated with flowers on an iron red ground, framing a rectangular black ground panel inset in mother-of-pearl and stained bone with an eagle, sparrow and blossoming branch (some elements of inlay missing).
