A Japanese Hirado white glazed porcelain jar and cover, Meiji period, the globular body and cover pierced and moulded in relief with continuous overlapping birds including cockerels, pheasant, ducks and sparrows flanked by a pair of stork handles, beneath a mandarin duck finial, incised three character mark to base, height approx 21cm.
