A late 19th Century slate and porcelain mantel clock with eight day movement striking on a gong, the porcelain dial painted with a shield surrounded by a slate chapter ring with gilt Arabic numerals, framed by a rectangular gilt ground porcelain panel painted with two knights on horseback and an attendant with a castle beyond, the rectangular case with gilt decoration, height approx 32cm, with a pendulum.
