WAUGH, Evelyn. When the Going was Good. London: 1946. First edition, 8vo (217 x 138mm.) Colour frontispiece, folding map. (Spotting to first and last few leaves.) Original cloth (extremities bumped and soiled). Provenance: 'Mary' (presentation inscription signed by the author 'with best wishes for Christmas 1946 from Evelyn' to front free endpaper).
