A Chinese two colour glass scent bottle with silver mounts, probably early 19th Century, the flattened ovoid body with dark brown/black overlay, one side cut with a scene of a scholar sat at a table with burning brazier beneath pine branches flanked by blossoming branches, the other side a crane beneath a pine tree, on a white ground, the silver hinge lid with engraved decoration and coral cabochon surmount, length approx 10.5cm.
