Attributed to James Ramsay - The Entry of the Black Prince into London with the French King and his Son as Prisoners, welcomed by King Edward III, the Mayor of London and Companies of the City of London, oil on canvas, circa 1839, approx 131cm x 197cm, within a gilt composition frame of wide section with foliate scroll corner crestings. Note: a picture by James Ramsay of the same subject, probably this very painting, was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1839 and at the British Institution in 1841.
