A Meissen porcelain yellow ground cabinet cup and saucer, 19th Century, the cup of ogee shape with entwined foliate handle, finely enamelled with a battle scene vignette within gilt scroll framing, the saucer with three similar vignettes of soldiers in battle and at rest within gilt framing, crossed swords in underglaze blue to bases, cup impressed '18', diameter of saucer approx 17.5cm (fine haircrack to saucer, minor wear to gilding).
