A Cantagalli maiolica circular charger, late 19th Century, painted with a central head and shoulders portrait of a soldier against an inscribed ribbon banner within a border rim of grotesques, the base underside with a central fleur-de-lys within a floral border, painted cockerel mark to base (broken in half and riveted).
