A Martin Brothers stoneware jug, dated 24th November 1882, the brown glazed ovoid body incised with a banner inscribed 'Love Makes One Fit For Any Work' above and between chrysanthemum flowers, incised 'R.W Martin London & Southall' beneath the date, height approx 22cm (minor chip to rim interior).
