A late Victorian oak coal purdonium, each opposing fall-flap with central bird's eye maple panel within a coromandel border, fitted with a turned yew handle and gilt brass hinges, surmounted with a turned and faceted yew handle, one side fitted with a matching yew-handled shovel, its brass strap support stamped 'Hall', height approx 41cm.
