A white glazed plate with basketweave moulded rim, probably Frankenthal, circa 1760, enamelled with a Kakiemon design of a flowering tree above a banded hedge, the rim with three scattered floral sprays, underglaze blue lion mark to base, diameter approx 24.7cm (chip to rim, wear to enamels and gilding).
