A Chinese carved soapstone jar and cover, late 19th/early 20th Century, the pierced brocade ball body supported by a pair of Buddhistic lions, on a pierced rockwork base, the cover surmounted with a further Buddhistic lion and cub, height approx 29cm, together with a wood stand (minor faults).
