An impressive Chinese cloisonné vase (hu), mid-Ming dynasty, of generous baluster form on a high conical foot, the bulbous body filled with two pairs of lapis blue dragons framing a flaming yellow pearl above rolling waves, between banded lotus and vine borders, flanked by a pair of chased gilt metal mask and loose ring handles, height approx 51cm (probably later handles and restoration).
