A Chinese famille rose porcelain vase, mark of Qianlong but probably 19th Century, the square section body flanked by a pair of moulded lion mask and ring handles, each facet alternately enamelled with precious objects and magpies within blossoming branches, the neck and foot with ruyi head borders, pseudo six character mark of Qianlong in iron red to base, height approx 11.7cm. Provenance: certificate of identity and authentication from P.C. Lu of Hong Kong Antique Centre, dated 19th Aug 1965.
