The First World War medals relating to Robert George Constable, comprising 1914-15 Star to 'G-2980 Pte R.G. Constable. R.Suss:R.', 1914-18 British War Medal and 1914-19 Victory Medal to 'G-2980 Pte. R.G. Constable. R.Suss.R.' (official corrections to the naming on the Victory Medal), three paper forwarding slips for the First World War medals, the named memorial plaque, a Royal Sussex Regiment cap badge, later mounted as a brooch, a named base metal identity bracelet, a recent copy photograph of a solider of the Royal Sussex Regiment, a small calendar for 1916, and a leather purse. Note: Private R.G. Constable died 18th June 1916 and was buried at Bailleul Communal Cemetery Extension.
