A pair of Chinese famille rose export porcelain hu-shaped vases and covers, Qianlong period, each flattened pear form body painted in the Mandarin palette with opposing scenes of figures seated on a terrace with waterside landscape beyond, flanked by further figural and landscape vignettes against a ground of flowers and gilt foliage, beneath a pair of gilt handles and domed cover with lion cub finial, height approx 35cm (faults and repairs).
