LOT 1153
A George III Scottish mahogany longcase clock with eight day movement striking on a bell, the brass break arch dial with silvered chapter ring framing an engraved centre with subsidiary petal form silvered second dial and date aperture, cornered with pierced scroll spandrels, beneath a silvered boss inscribed 'WillM Brownlie, Hamilton', the hood with pierced fretwork swan neck pediment above a blind fretwork frieze, glazed door and barley twist pilasters, the trunk with rectangular door flanked by Corinthian barley twist corner columns, on a plain base and bracket feet, height approx 232cm, together with pendulum and two weights (faults).
