LOT 1100
A late 19th Century lacquered brass and slate four glass table clock with perpetual calendar and moonphase, the eight day movement striking on a bell, the backplate stamped 'Lewis & Son Paris 9970', the three piece white enamel dial with Roman numerals and visible brocot escapement, inscribed 'Lewis & Son, Paris', within an outer sweep seconds ring, above a further two piece enamel dial annotated with months of the year to circumference enclosing subsidiary day, date and moonphase, all set within a foliate scroll engraved gilt brass surround, the bevel glazed case with moulded slate top and base with bracket feet, height approx 41cm, together with pendulum and key (some faults).
