LOT 1100
A late 19th Century German oak bracket clock with eight day movement striking the hours and quarters on five gongs, the brass dial with subsidiary slow/fast and chime/silent indicator dials above a silvered chapter ring and matt centre, surrounded by cast and pierced gilt scroll spandrels, the backplate stamped 'W&H Sch' (Winterholder & Hoffmeier), the dome top case profusely carved with masks, foliage and scrolls, the front with bevelled glazed door flanked by a pair of carved mask and scroll fret panels on a breakfront base and bracket feet, height approx 57cm, together with a pendulum.
